Detroit, Mich. – October 20, 2008 – Bal Seal Engineering, Inc., a global supplier of custom-engineered connecting, sealing, conducting and shielding solutions for the automotive industry, has announced that it will exhibit at the SAE Convergence® event, October 20th-22nd, 2008 in Detroit, Mich.
During the event, Bal Seal representatives will meet with OEMs and engineers to demonstrate how canted-coil™ spring technology is being used to enhance the performance of steering, drivetrain, suspension, lighting, power management and other automotive equipment. New application examples that illustrate Bal Seal’s ability to help engineers “push the technology envelope” will also be displayed, the company said.

The Bal Seal exhibit, located in booth #728 at the Cobo Center in Detroit, will feature samples of Bal Contact™ spring elements in a variety of diameters, gauges and materials. The company’s Bal Seal™ spring-energized PTFE seals will also be highlighted in the exhibit.
